By George!

I posted these photos of George Savage not too long ago.  I wanted to put them together in one post.  I don't know who took the full nudes, but I don't think it was AMG.

  1. Interesting light contrast between E-14 and J-7. I'm guessing different sessions?

  2. George Savage posed around 1958 and 1959. He was at AMG when Dick Durant and Joe Leitel were making films there. I tried for years to figure out what Studio photgraphed Savage nude. My first guess was Pat Milo but the nude photo with Savage holding a fishing pole really does not look like a Milo photo. I do not think anyone knows who George Savage posed nude for in the late 1950s.

  4. I also have these photos J-7 and E-14 attributed to J.Brian - but no source for this information

    1. Guido-George Savage in J-7 & E-14 looks to be the same age as when he posed for Bob Mizer in posing pouches in 1958/1959. But J Brian was not taking photos of models until the mid 1960s according to the California Online Archive. Calafran was formed in 1966. This is why I hesitate to say J Brian or Calafran.
