Betty Weider née Brosmer with Dick Dubois on the cover of Muscle Builder, a Ben and Joe Weider publication. Too bad bodybuilding and bodybuilders have left this healthy, aesthetic look for the unhealthy, steroidal look of today....:(
Dubois was part of the Las Vegas revue of Mae West that featured musclemen. Supposedly Mae enjoyed their masculine charms in more ways than one, and they provided their masculine essence for Mae’s youth giving beauty cream. The musclemen pumped away ! It was said Mae was enamored of Dubois and her demands in the boudoir caused an exhausted Dubois to leave the show after its first year run. Br’klyn Kid
