The session with Larry Murdock is a rare example of Mizer using someone else's art as a back projection. Mizer even credited the SCI-FI art to Morris Scott Dollens who painted many pieces used on the covers of sci-fi books and flyers from the earliest days of the genre. Mizer did shoot Shan Daymore with some of Dollens' art, but considering this was in the early 60s at the height the the space race, I am really surprised that Mizer didn't do it more often. Some of his best work from this period, IMO.
