    1. I don’t know — I think Bloomberg is a surname, as might be Paul, although with AMG there was obviously some slippage on identifications…

    1. Yes, Louis Paul who appears in later photo sessions. This seems to be Joe Bloomberg’s only appearance.

    2. Would it be helpful for me to identify other early AMG models where I can? I’ve been focused on the first five years of the studio. Scott

    3. Bob Mizer interned with Fred Kovert of Hollywood also right up until 1949 when Kovert took his own life. I wonder if this was taken at the Kovert of Hollywood studio.?

    4. As Cambria stated, the photo could have been taken by Bob Mizer at Fred Kovert's studio in the early phase of Mizer's physique photography before Kovert's death. In my opinion that is most likely.
Forrester Millard / D'Orlac was Mizer's first bonafide physique model in 1946. Early works by Mizer seem to be harder to find, Photoplay may be of great assistance identifying the earlier physique models of Mizer, as many are unknown -Rj

  3. I have a picture of Louis Paul from 1948-49, but I’m not sure how to get it to you (or, better yet, have it post here with the Paul/Bloomberg image).
