I'll give it a shot. Could this be the guy who used the name Chuck Conners? This looks like it could be from the series of "construction" photos with hard had (and not much else).
No, vintage fan, this is not the same guy (who actually used the name Charles Connors). Connors' construction shoot didn't have that sign behind him or the metal barrel in it.
