"Jim Collette Acrobatics" was released in 1972 but the filming had to have been done several years before 1972. Jim Collette died on the Colorado River in May/June of 1968. Bob Mizer wrote: "We regret to report the passing in June 1968 of Jim Collette. A beautiful boy with just about everything to live for, he seemed from a very early age bent on self destruction. On California's last primary election day (the same day Senator Robert Kennedy was assassinated) Jim took a trip with a group of hippie friends to the Colorado River. The group returned without him. Three days afterwards he was found floating in the river, but an autopsy revealed that death had come from alcohol and drugs."
