While the bulging boxers are certainly nice, I found my eyes drawn to that tranparent jockstrap. Given the state of the plastics industry back then, I have to think it could not have been comfortable.
Somewhere I have a name for the model with the plastic see-through. My first thought was that can't be comfortable. It can't be attractive either. Imagine your junk squished in there for all the world to see. I think it would look weird. But that's just me. 😃
