I recently came across these five photos that had no information regarding the studio or the models. I feel safe saying they are from Champion, but I don't recognize the models. Actually, the guy with the cap does look familiar.

I also found these same five photos on eBay recently, and the seller had the guy in the sailor cap identified as Paolo Vita (he had him listed as Vito Paolo). I have several others pics of Paolo, as well as one more from this set.
ReplyDeleteI doubt that the Man in the Sailor Cap was Paola Vita who posed for Champion. Paola had much thicker hair and eyebrows and had no Tattoos. The Sailor Cap model has an arm Tattoo and really looks nothing like Paola Vita who was very dark and Italian looking.

ReplyDeleteWhen I came to comment on these, I thought, Cambria will surely have given IDs already. But, he hasn't. They are Don Eastman (with sailor cap, left in 1st photo) and Buzz. Conway. I must say, they are MUCH better with colour adjustment. My software does that very well automatically. I can send the colour-adjusted ones to you James, so you can see.
