Change of Pace

Marvin Eder by Lon of NY.  He stood only 5ft 2in tall, but is considered one of the strongest of strong men from any era.  At one competitive event he lifted over 500 pounds.  He was the first man who weighed under 200 lbs to do so.

  1. Marvin Eder 1933-2022
His career short circuited by the politics of the AAU, after losing amateur status because of photos used in Weider's magazines for which Eder received no payment. Became a plumber after his career in bodybuilding and weightlifting fizzled at age 23.
