I posted the top photo as an unknown (to me) AMG duo and once again Guido came through for us.
Meet John Gregg (left) and Will Rogers in a still from the 1967 AMG film What Shall We Do With A Drunken Sailor? Judging from the photo, it looks like they had a fist fight. They probably wrestled after they stripped down to those fancy striped pouches.

This is both models first appearance on this blog and their only appearance at AMG. I hope to find more photos of them.
Just as a guess: John Gregg (L) and Will Rogers(R) from the film "What Shall We Do With A Drunken Sailor". The setting and the models would match, but the reference picture in the GG16 is not clear enough to be sure.

John Gregg was a friend of older model Larry Ahrendt, who brought him to AMG to see Bob Mizer. Mizer paired him with Ted (Will) Rogers and photographed this film in January 1965. The film wasn't released until July 1967. Mizer didn't advertise the film in Physique Pictorial, so I assume he did not think much of it, although it is listed in Grecian Guild Quarterly's AMG Film Library. It seems to be the only time either model was photographed at AMG, so there is not a lot of information on them. And very few photos. Delete"What Shall We Do with a Drunken Sailor" was filmed in 1965 and released in 1967. Thus we see the horizontal striped Posing Pouches worn by both models that were the rage at AMG in 1965. See, Grecian Guild Studio Quarterly No. 16 Winter 1965 page 70.

You think that's why the scratch mark? Interesting.
DeleteIt was those hideous cheap horizontal striped Posing Pouches they used back in 1965. Mizer was having them made at some cheap factory and selling them for a profit. But they were flimsy and did not hold up. You do not see them much after 1965 but they were used a great deal in 1965.
