Before He Was Famous

At AMG he was called Bobby Kropp, but he became much better known as Les Harmon when he was hired by Nova Studios to do a few loops -- including the classic hit His Little Brother (Nova, 1979).

  1. Mel Roberts also did some excellent outdoor color photos of him as Bobby Kropp in 1972-73 - published in "Mel Roberts' California Boys" and "Wild Ones"

  2. I'm surprised since Bobby was only around 15 years old in 1972-73.

  3. It should come as no surprise that There were plenty of underaged "throwaway kids" back in the 60's and 70's in California. With no education or job experience few opportunities were open except to lie about their age and work in prostitution and nude modeling, if they were attractive. Brian Idol is an obvious example.
