Surprise Find

I forget where I found this photo.  I know it wasn't labeled, but I knew immediately it was Jack Reno.  The tattoo confirms it.

AMG Film

Cambria sent me this AMG photo to ask if I could identify the three models on their knees in front of John Adams.  I once had a b&w copy of this photo, but I was never able identity any of the guys except John.

I think this might be from a film.

The three unknowns are (left to right) Bill Mahrer, Ronnie Peace and Gary Pederson in the film New Slaves for the King.  Cambria found confirmation after sending this to me.

Shower Babe

Scoop Helentall in the AMG shower.  I don't think he did any films at AMG.

Centerfold Stud

Tony Crater by Target was the centerfold model for Mandate magazine in January, 1978.  One of my personal favorites.  I had that magazine for years.  Years!

January, 1978.  Saturday Night Fever and Close Encounters of the Third Kind were playing in the movie theatres.  The Bee Gees song How Deep is Your Love and the Styx song Come Sail Away were in the top ten and rotated frequently on the FM stations.  On January 25th, the Great Blizzard of 1978 slammed the Ohio Valley and the Great Lakes region for TWO days burying the vast area with up to three feet of snow.  It is considered to be one of the worst blizzards in U.S. history.

Come for the nudity, stay for the history. 🙂

P.S. Tony was a Playgirl Man of the Month model in September, 1977.  PG called him John Alexander.  Personally I think his Target photos were far better.

Big Rick

Rick Wolfmier by Colt in the late 1970s.

He did a couple of films for that studio.  His one with Mike Betts was my first exposure to Colt on film.  Yeah, if you're into muscles, that was the one to see.  Oddly, their tan lines and pubic hairs were what really caught my attention.  To each his own.

Bat & Butt

I originally posted this AMG photo nearly three years ago.  I'm hoping to get a name so I can search for more photos of this model.

Mystery Solved!

The other day I posted a photo of John Krivos in the AMG outdoor bathtub with an unknown blond washing his arm.  Thanks to CinemaCapMan we now have a name!

CinemaCapMan sent me the following photos of John and Al Agor.  As confirmation, he included the contact sheet that clearly gives us Al's name.  Honestly, when I first saw the photos I thought "That's not Al!" and then I saw the top photo and realized it sure was.

Although Krivos did a few films for Mizer (and others) I don't think these photos are from a film.  Sadly, I don't think Al did any film work.

Special thanks to CinemaCapMan for solving the mystery.

More of Krivos & Agor

I originally made this post two years ago not knowing the name of the sailor.  Now we know it's Al Agor with John Krivos.

Repost

I'm reposting this so we can fully appreciate Mr. Agor's body.

Guido and Brian E. say this is Al Agor (aka Al Pogorzelski).  Thanks, guys!

Don Fuller

Photographed by Bruce of LA.  Don did a number of sessions with Bruce.  I like the use of color and props in this one.  But, there is one problem...

See CinemaCapMan's comments below.  Someone replaced that beach ball with a disco ball.  Must have been in the 1970s.  😃

Family Jewels

Joe in Vancouver recently wrote to me expressing his appreciation of vintage models and how he wished the guys didn't cover up the "family jewels".  Joe was especially appreciative of the photos of Charlie Ruff I recently posted.

Well thanks for writing, Joe.  Here's a montage of a young Mr. Ruff au natural, as Bob Mizer would say.  This photo was a gift from Brian.  Enjoy!

Fuzzy Image

In our final photograph for today, I offer David Allen by Bruce of LA.  That shadow on his left thigh looks more like a mirror image -- albeit a fuzzy looking image.  I know a certain reader who will enjoy this one.  I suspect he won't be alone.

The First?

Two stills from the AMG short film Jungle Man filmed and released in 1967.  This could well be the very first full nude film released to the public by AMG.

King Anton

Yet another AMG movie still.  This time from the film The Jewel Thief.  That's Anton van dan Wildenberg standing on the box in the back.  He played the King.  I've been trying to find more photos of him...well, specifically of his awesome butt.

No other models were identified in this 1959 release.

Unknown Blond

Can anyone tell me the name of the handsome blond washing John Krivos' arm?

Side Look

John Bragg by Mike Scott.

Column Lift

Sandy Alcorn by AMG.  His tan lines are like tattoos.  They help confirm his identity.

Like A Native -- UPDATED

Two years ago I made this post to see if anyone knew the names of the two cowboys posing with John Manning.  I suspected these AMG photos were from a film, but I was unable to find a title.

Thanks to Cambria we now have answers.  The AMG film was called Friendly Indian and starred John as the Indian with Vic Gipson (black hat) and Flash Myers as the cowboys.

Mr. Abs

Irvin Koszewski in Physique Pictorial, early 1950s.  He won the Mr. Los Angeles and the Mr. California contests in 1953.

More Pete

Pete Shea (trust me) by Rick Dion Studio.  I knew there had to be at least one butt shot of this guy somewhere on the internet.

Click his label to see Pete in color.

Smooth Muscles

Vic Seipke poses for Spectrum along the shores of Lake Michigan in 1955 -- roughly five years after he earned the title Mr. Michigan.

Hanging Out

David O'Boyle at AMG.

Back to Lake Michigan

Vic Seipke was joined by Frank Cuna at that photo shoot by Spectrum.

Name Change?

The name William Sexton appears at the top of the first photo, but Playgirl fans know him better as James Sexton from the March, 1977 issue.  Around the same time as that photo shoot, he also posed for AMG as Blue Max Hemsley.

I don't think these photos are from Playgirl.  In fact, I would bet on it.  Maybe he posed for some other studio who gave him the name William.  Or, maybe it's not James at all!  That butt is spot on, though.

Early AMG

Ben Pascham by AMG.

Longtime Favorite

Bo Richards by AMG, circa 1980.

Smiling Kip

Kip Behar by Bruce of LA.  He looks really good in this photo.

Blue Eyes

Chuck Steury by Studio Signore.

Chuck got around.  Many of the photos I've seen of him over the years were not credited to any studio.  Although you're not able to see them here, he had the most mesmerizing blue eyes. (Look up.)

Studio Signore is a new name for me.
